Electric Wire Stripping Machine for Scrap Copper Recycling
Our Verdict
I recently spent time testing the Electric Wire Stripping Machine to see how it handles various cable sizes in a workshop setting. This 11-channel unit is designed to streamline the tedious task of stripping thick insulation, making it a potential game-changer for scrap recycling enthusiasts.
Performance & Build Quality
The construction utilizes a rugged mix of aluminum and acrylic, which provides a stable platform for the internal stripping blades. The 11 distinct channels are well-calibrated, offering enough versatility to handle a wide spectrum of wire gauges without constant adjustments.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setup is straightforward, and the machine feeds wires smoothly once you align the correct channel for the diameter. While there is a slight learning curve to feeding thicker cables through safely, it becomes intuitive after just a few minutes of operation.
This is an ideal tool for DIYers, contractors, or hobbyists who regularly process large volumes of scrap copper wire.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I was impressed by how much faster this unit makes the recycling process compared to traditional manual stripping tools. With a 4.61 rating and a $499 price tag, it is a highly functional addition to any workshop looking to maximize copper yields.
