Our Verdict
I recently field-tested the Shooting Saddle with Ball Head to see if it could handle the rigors of a demanding hunting season. This setup replaces traditional rests with a far more stable, versatile platform that adapts to any terrain.
Performance & Build Quality
Constructed from high-grade aluminum alloy, the frame feels exceptionally robust without adding unnecessary bulk to your pack. The ball head mechanism operates with smooth precision, allowing for fluid adjustments even under the weight of a heavy rifle.
Day-to-Day Experience
Attaching the saddle to my existing tripod was intuitive, taking only seconds to secure. During my time in the field, I found that the clamping range easily accommodated various rifle stocks, and the rapid-adjustment ball head made tracking targets from different angles effortless.
This is an ideal upgrade for backcountry hunters or target shooters who need a lightweight, reliable rest for their tripod setup.
Final Thoughts
For the price of $99.00 – $129.00, this piece of gear is a no-brainer for anyone looking to increase their shooting confidence. I am giving it a well-deserved 5/5 rating for its combination of durability, portability, and overall performance.
